The Banner Project is a hyper local participatory arts project.
Households in a street (or suburb) are invited to make a banner in response to the question “What Does Your Street Need To Hear?” to hang on their verandah, fence or tree, turning the streets into an art gallery.
Through workshops at community centres and homes, the banners are made with Maybe ( ) Together’s artful facilitation skills. The result is a walking gallery for the community to walk and enjoy.
This project weaves a community together.
